I am seeking participants for a project documenting the way we interact with our pups in everyday life. We often take snapshots when they’re doing something cute, and selfies when we’re cuddling. But I want to identify the unique ways that each family involves their dogs in their lives. The special things you do together. Their funny little quirks and habits.
We love them for the way they make us feel, not just how incredibly cute they are.
This project will encompass two parts:
- An interview style questionnaire that you will complete online – tell me your family’s story. How do your pups enrich your life? What are your favourite ways to spend time with them? This will be emailed to all successful applicants and complete prior to the photo shoot.
- A short photo session in your home. I will create documentary style images of your family’s interaction with your dogs to be shared alongside your story.
The end game:
Ultimately I would love to compile the stories I collect into a coffee table book featuring your beautiful photos and stories.
But primarily, I want this experience to encourage you to enjoy and treasure your time with your pets.

In exchange for your time providing your written story, your photo session and your favourite image will be complimentary (in high resolution digital format). You are welcome to purchase additional images or prints, but there is no obligation to do so.

Eligibility criteria apply – families will be accepted based on location, availability and composition to ensure a broad cross section of participants. I would love to include everyone, but unfortunately the scope of this project is limited at the moment.
