One of my favourite images from Ashlin’s newborn session was this one using the beautiful hand-knitted shawl that her grandmother made. It is so special using personal and sentimental items that my lovely clients bring along to their newborn session.

So when Ashlin came back for her three month session, the second in her Baby’s First Year collection, I asked her family to bring it back so we could use it throughout the series.

It’s amazing how much these gorgeous little people change in those first few months.
