05 Dec Beach Baby Photos | Seanna Turns One

Seanna’s family LOVE the beach and all things oceanic, so to celebrate turning one, we took these gorgeous photos in their favourite spot. I had a couple of outdoor family shoots in October, and it reminded me of my early days of photographing families, pre-studio. So much fun in the afternoon light on the sand. Different lenses, different lighting, more action!

I incorporated a bit of video into this session for the first time. I love the way it gives a little sneak peek into how my gorgeous families interact during a photo shoot. My aim is to make it a fun and relaxing time, so I can catch those genuine moments of connection, love and joy.

It was so much fun watching Seanna explore and play with mum & dad, and her puppies. She was so busy in her work, I had to wait until right at the end of the session for her to give me a big smile!
