12 Sep Beautiful Baby Portraits | Zara

Sweet little Zara came to visit me in the studio when she was 10 days old, and she brought her mum and dad, and big brother with her. I love seeing older siblings interact with their tiny new arrivals – sweet kisses, gentle pats – often still with an air of uncertainty at this early stage. Zara’s big brother was beautifully affectionate with her, but needed a little encouragement to star in a sibling shot – scroll to the end to see the beautiful moment we captured.

This photo really sums up his enthusiasm, and how much he loves hanging out with dad.

Pink and grey is such a popular colour choice for baby girls. Zara loved to be wrapped up and snug.

Babies in black and white are my favourite… So tiny, so innocent, so peaceful.

I’ve used my “go to” wooden bowl from Princess & the Pea props for this set up – it was the perfect size for Zara. She was just a tiny little poppet!
