02 Jun Edmund | Newborn Photos in Brisbane
Edmund is a special little guy, and has been blessed to be born into the loveliest family! He is a new brother for the handsome and friendly Giles, and the twin of his little sibling, sadly lost during his mum’s pregnancy. I was so impressed with how loving and attentive Giles was with his brother – and with a little help from my finger puppets, he was a star for his sibling photos!
We included a couple of mum’s own butterflies in Edmund’s session to remember his twin.
I particularly love this little rainbow set-up, using this amazingly soft woolly layer from Erin at Beer & Skittles, and featuring another beautiful butterfly to remember Edmund’s twin. The little blue outfit was handmade by me.
Dancing baby! A little stretch and a boogie, and back to sleep… He is such an expressive little man!
Mum requested some bright colours, so it was fun experimenting with a few stronger and bolder colours than I usually work with, and complimented beautifully by the “seafoam” wool from LUV EWE Handspun. And more gorgeous facial expressions!
And right at the end of his session, Edmund gave me one of biggest newborn smiles I’ve ever seen.
From beautiful images to hand-crafted keepsakes
Edmund’s family chose this gorgeous handmade album…
and a beautiful canvas to display with Giles’ baby photo. It’s always my favourite part of the whole experience – handing over lovely printed products that can be enjoyed straight away and for many years to come!
Edmund’s family kindly agreed to be featured on my behind-the-scenes page, which goes through what you can expect during a session, if you’re looking for newborn photos in Brisbane. You can read all the info here – What to Expect in your newborn session.
