21 Aug Elliot Turns One | First Birthday Family Photos

I just LOVE it when clients come back to the studio! Especially when I first meet them as newborns and I get to see “my babies” again. I got to photograph Elliot again at my Open Day in June, and then a few weeks later for his first birthday family photos.

Who doesn’t love a great before and after shot!!?

Angus & Jess were connected with me through Brisbane Dachshunds, so of course their sausage dogs have been included in their family photos. You can have a look at Elliot’s newborn session here. Sadly Roxy passed away not long after those photos were taken, leaving behind so many beautiful memories and broken hearts. Gorgeous little Gabby has since joined the family and is doing her best to heal those broken hearts.

I always encourage parents to have some photos together too. It’s so important not only to have nice photos of you as a couple, but to remember that above all, you’re a partnership – being parents doesn’t change that. 

First birthdays are an amazing milestone – surviving the first year is a great accomplishment!
