12 Aug Henry’s First Birthday Party Photos | Woodland Theme

Henry celebrated his first birthday recently with this beautiful Woodland themed party. I love first birthdays! They are a celebration of a little life, and also a celebration of the family who made it through that first year. I really don’t need to say much about this amazing party – the photos speak for themselves. Henry’s mum did an amazing job putting everything together. She also requested a bit of a vintage look to his first birthday party photos, which worked beautifully with the theme and decorations.

Jess has been wonderful, and we are so pleased with the photographs. She was professional, prompt, lovely to deal with, and happy to accommodate our requests. The Birthday Boy

I like to arrive a little early to birthday parties so that the star of the show can have some beautiful portraits taken before everyone is wearing the party food and a little overwhelmed with sugar!

Henry didn’t quite know what to make of me and silly antics, but we certainly got lots of spunky attitude and expression from him.

And of course some gorgeous family portraits…

The Cake

How amazing is this cake!?! The “naked” cake was made by Leah at The Cupcake Mafia, with all the decorating done by Henry’s mum.

The play equipment was hired from Little Legs Toy & Party Hire – lots of fun for the little ones, and such a handy idea!
