27 May Introducing Little Stories Studio

After 8 years, the time has come to say goodbye to Gerty Photography.

When I started this business I was single (but optimistic about eventually finding a husband!), and didn’t want to use my maiden name for my new venture. My nickname as a kid was Giggling Gerty, so Gerty Photography was “me” – with room to move. Fast forward to 2017, and Gerty has seen me through a corporate redundancy, the switch to full time self-employment, a wonderful marriage, moving into a dedicated studio space, two cheeky sons, and three sausage dogs. What a ride!

Over the years my business has grown alongside my family, and I have been slowly refining exactly what I wanted my studio to offer my clients. The time has come to launch a fresh brand that says a little more about what I want to do for you, not just who I am. 

So I’d like to welcome you to Little Stories Studio. All the credit goes to my amazing Mum for helping me choose the new name!

Over the years I have met so many beautiful families all writing their own tales, and I have loved being a small part of the journey. I want to make your portrait session a lovely and relaxed experience, and a wonderful way to look back at this time in your life. I want you to see the things that make your family – your kids, your love, your life – unique and special. 

Apart from the name change, nothing significant will change for my existing and new clients. The booking process, my print and image collections, and the beautiful finished products are all still the same. 

Thank you to my Gerty clients who have trusted me with your tiny babies and growing families. I look forward to seeing many of you again and continuing to do this job that I love!
