21 Jun Lucy’s Story | Newborn Photos

Meet little Lucy, deliciously chubby cheeks and the third little girl to bless this family. I have known Rachel and Michael for many years, our Dachshunds “grew up together” before either of our families had kids. Now, all of a sudden, our families are growing and the kids are jumping on the trampoline and playing hide and seek with walkie-talkies! 

It was so lovely to have snuggles with Lucy and capture this exciting time for her family. So much personality in these sibling photos – sweet Lucy, cheeky Ivy, and delightfully dedicated big sister Ellie. How gorgeous are these girls!?!

A newborn session isn’t just about a beautiful new baby. The family photos are often my favourite. I love the expression “welcoming a new baby” – it paints such a beautiful picture of the way a new life joins a family unit to start their journey.

This is my absolute favourite from Lucy’s session. I made this blanket from Wolltraum My Melody yarn. It was a special request on my Christmas list and I knew it would look amazing, it just took a while to pick the pattern!
