03 Jun Ari the little adventurer | Travel Themed Newborn Photos

Ari’s lovely mum contacted me after seeing Katara’s Harry Potter newborn photos. She asked me to create some special travel themed newborn photos for her little man. I knew this world map would be perfect the moment I saw it! 

With the addition of a couple of little props, the setup was complete. The whole world is waiting, ready to explore as he grows. This shot always makes me think of the Dr. Seuss poem “Oh, the places you’ll go!”

How gorgeous are these guys? I love taking deliciously snuggly family photos. 

It was so special to have Ari’s godfather come along to his newborn session. He was a total baby-whisperer too!

A couple of quick changes to the travel themed setup, and we did this beautiful neutral look while Ari slept right through. So peaceful, simple and sweet.

Ari was born just before Christmas, so we also did one sweet Christmas themed photo for his gallery. 

Despite all the preparation that went into creating Ari’s travel themed newborn photos, I think this perfectly simple black and white shot has to be one of my favourites from his session. This shot was one that his mum particularly wanted us to capture. So tiny. So cute. So much hair!
